Keeping it simple with a black top and bright orange/red shirt ohhh yeaaaaaah. I love the colour of the Urban Outfitters shirt and it's extra baggy which is great to just throw on for extra layers. The weather has been super lovely recently and a couple of friends from uni are leaving back to their home countries so I've been hanging out with them before they jet off across the world. One of the things I love about University in general is just the diverse range of people you will meet. I haven't traveled that much before but within the couple of years that I have been at uni I've learnt so much about different cultures and customs and interacted with people from countries I'd only dreamt of visiting. I've met people from Asia, Thailand, Greece, Cyprus, Romania, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Germany and so many other places I'd be here for a while if I were to list them all. I think a part of it are my chosen courses as I guess they typically attract international students but it's definitely something that will stand out about uni for me.

On a different note, I'm on the hunt for a new/better quality camera so if anyone can recommend any great ones that they take super awesome cool blog pictures with then do let me know!

Oh hey guys hey guess what Christmas break is heeeerreeee, oh yeaaaaah. Time to chill. Kind of anyway, I still have some work left to do and need to think about my dissertation title buuuut like the typical student I'm putting it off for a while ha! Anyway, I bought this denim jacket a while back and haven't really worn it until now but I'm a lover of layering so its come in quite handy recently! Also I guess it'll be a good piece to wear in the Summer too over a dress or something as an alternative to a leather jacket.  The shirt underneath my jumper is, again, stolen form my mum but it has such a lovely print over it!

Erm guys... I'm wearing all black wowowowow. Is this a boring outfit? I feel like it's a boring outfit cos there's no colour haha! I say that however, I actually like this all black look - it's simple and a lot more 'grown up' looking, if that makes sense! I stole my cardi from my mum when I started uni ages ago and, to be honest, I've practically lived in it ever since - it's so warm and great for layering.

I went to the #EastMidsMeetUp yesterday by the way! It was organised/hosted by Emma and was so lovely to meet/connect with local bloggers! A blog post talking about the day in more detail will be up later as well as a blogger interview with Emma too so look out for that :) Speaking of the interviews... thank you guys for your comments and feedback on the last ones so far! I hope you enjoy your Sunday, I'm off to read up on world politics for uni... yaaay (no sarcasm intended, it's actually interesting... ok maybe a liiiiitle bit of sarcasm...) (wouldn't it be so cool if you could go to uni/take classes because you genuinely enjoy the course content but not have to be graded on it? Yeah that would be cool)

'We were made to be awesome' // OOTD

Soooooo erm, I QUIT MY JOB OMG WHAT?!?! Yep. It wasn't for me. And I was rubbish at it. And you know a clever person would have waited until they had secured another job right? Yeah but not me... for some reason. I think I'm hoping it will kick my butt into gear into securing a job in what I want to go into. Kinda like Rachel in Friends when she quits her waitressing job so that she can get 'The Fear'? Yeah. Except this is real life and that was a pre-written tv show. But I'm sure you get the idea. And I pray to God it works because right now all I can think about is how much time I wasted just standing still when I should have been doing everything I could to keep moving forward. Especially as I know what it is I want to go into so I had no excuse really. We spend a lot of time at work/in the office so if you're doing something that doesn't suit you then you are spending a lot of your time doing something that doesn't really interest or excite you which is a very sad thing. Kinda like having to study math non-stop when all you really want to be doing is art (I need to stop with these weird analogies). So yeah, that's what is new in my life. And if anyone reading this wants to offer me a job in the writing/media/journalism region go right ahead man... ha!
